Imagine coming into this world, struggling for your very existence. Yuritza and Yelitza were born into a situation that was unhealthy and unsafe.

The single mother did not take the time to nuture and care for her twin daughters. Working during the day, she left the newborns with her other two young children. The siblings
could barely care for themselves, let alone two babies.

Abandoned in a town called Navivasha, Jane Atuk was only about three years old. In a place where she knew no one, Jane sat quietly on the side of the road crying until the police found her.

Unable to communicate who she was or who her parents were, Jane was placed in a safe house in Naivasha where she spent almost a year. No one came to claim her.

The safe house then requested the help of Lifewater Kenya's Samaritan Children Center to assist in the care of this innocent little girl.
Now five years old, Jane is 100% under the Samaritan Center's care where she is happy and jovial. Thanks to your donations, her future is brighter and full of promise as she enters nursery school.

Now happy and healthy are twins, Yelitza and Yuritza at one year, 4 months old.
The babies were dirty, hungry and covered with flies.

Through the intervention of Hogar el Reposo, the mother was given the option of surrendering her babies so that they could have the love and care they so desperately needed. These precious girls are now in the home where they have received medical attention, clean clothes, and a chance for a safe and healthy future.
